George Morison King

Born: 4 April 1793, West Indies (baptised 10 May 1793, Church of St. Philip, Barbados).
Died:  Between 1842 and 1886.

Married: Margaret Morris, 10 February 1814, Nassau, Bahamas. She died before 1825.

Louisa Caroline, b. 21 November 1814. Died young.
George, b. 26 November 1821, d. 14 December 1877.

Married: Ann Sarah Hoey, 27 June 1825, Dublin.

Children:

Georgina Isabella Catherine, b. 27 May 1826, d. 20 June 1887.
Matthew Clayton George, b. 4 March 1837, d. 20 April 1837.

Education:

Career:

Entered the Royal Navy, using the name George Morison until 1814. Commissioned as lieutenant on 22 October 1814, and commander on 14 December 1821. Rose to the rank of Captain. Was at one time aide-de-camp to the king.
